Day 7

More of the same: CLO, EPO and probiotics

1.5 oz. chicken stock.

Micah's appetite has been fantastic...best it's been in about 2 months....maybe he'll gain back some of those 4+ lbs he lost over the last 8 weeks.

Tomorrow we start pureed carrots!! Last week I took the chicken carcass (and leftover skin and stuff) from our roasted chicken. Added onion, garlic, leeks, carrots, peppercorns, salt, splash of ACV, covered in water and cooked on LOW for about 14 hours. After the stock finished simmering I picked out the carrots, nice and mushy and full of chicken-y goodness, also picked off leftover chicken. Froze both last week in anticipation of GAPS diet Week 2 (pureed carrots) and Week 3 (pureed meats). I think Micah will be thrilled. He's been DYING to try our food but I held off because of the eczema.
